Jiri is chief of Product Owners teams building Polarion tool to support ALM for dev teams. Polarion was recently acquired by Siemens.

Being Agile is not a status. It is everlasting journey. It is an experience you live and share with your colleagues. It reflects the inner and outer environment, the organisation maturity as well as your business context, the market. I would like to share the memories, the challenges and threats, the success and opportunities I had a chance to witness by being part of one business journey from IT startup to merge into large corporate organisation, from acting as Product Owner to be VP of Product Management.

Presentation

THE JOURNEY OF GROWTH: FROM A LONELY PRODUCT OWNER TO PRODUCT OWNER’S TEAM IN GLOBAL CORPORATION.

Jiri started his journey as Product Owner of Polarion tool in a team of 10 developers. As number of developers were growing, work optimized and speed rising, there was also need to expand PO from a single person to a team. Jiri will share his experience of change and evolution from building simple product to complex solution for large multinationals, which requires coordinated activity of several Product Owners.

In his presentation he will speak about what he focuses on most: people, projects and collaboration, how does it transform the traditional agile assets and roles for the success of the business.
