Barabás Villa

Agilia Budapest Conference takes place at Barabás Villa, a classicist-style mansion situated in Buda in the neiborhood of Városmajor Park. Mansion was built in 1840 by Hungarian painter Miklós Barabás (1810 – 1898) according to his own plans and ideas. Under the villa there was a large celler (suitable for wine storage) which was connected with the wine-dresser house by an underground tunnel.

Leading product designers ― and especially those in highly creative, demanding fields ― know that their success depends on broadening their knowledge and inspiration form other fields, because inspiration lies everywhere. We have arranged conference to support natural curiosity looking into past through works of art – paintings, architecture, housing, gardening and finally, music. Because product design is not only about present, and quality often reveals upon survival of the test of time.

Conference’s Great Networking Evening will be organized in family owned Mezzo Restaurant.   Opened in 2010 with passion for harmony of dining, environment and music it regularly ranks among top choices in Budapest. Smooth jazz music all the night provided by respected members of the Hungarian music scene makes networking an enjoyable experience.
