Presentation
THE AGILE SYSTEM AT SAAB AERONAUTICS TAKES THE DEVELOPMENT OF THEIR NEW JET FIGHTER TO THE SKY
At Saab Aeronautics, in Linkoping Sweden, a new, highly advanced, multi-role jet fighter is currently being developed. In this technically complex, 2000 engineer project, agile practices act as the backbone of the development practices. Dr Furuhjelm will describe how the system works, not only on a team level, but throughout the project on different levels. Scrum and Kanban are applied, not only within software teams but also in equipment integration, hardware and airframe design. The presentation will focus on how customer demands are allocated to the team-level and the role of the Product Owner in this.
